Explore the Classroom system

Go to the Classroom System here.

The screenshot on the left is an example of the Classroom View to show what the Classroom System looks like at a glance. You can start populating this list by clicking on the green + button to add Classrooms.

Clicking on a Classroom that you’ve created in the Classroom View will take you to that Classroom’s page (screenshot on the right), where you’ll be able to find that Classroom’s join code, add students, track their progress, and more.

Add a Classroom

Click the green + button in the Classroom View. Type anything you’d like in the field with “Class name” and click “Create.” It’ll pop up in the Classroom View.

Start adding your students to populate your new Classroom!

Add a Student to Your Classroom

While you’re viewing your Classroom, click the field with “Add student” in it and type their name. Click “Create”.

A new account with the name you’ve just typed will have been added to the Classroom. Click their password to share it with your student via email. The password will be automatically hidden once the page is refreshed. You will need to reset their password to be able to share the password with the student again.

As a side note, the only account details that will be saved in the Classroom System are the ones you’ve entered, their usernames, and passwords.

Reset Your Student's Password

If there’s an issue with login details for a student, you can reset their login information and send the new details to them by clicking the “Reset” button.

Share a Classroom Code with your students

Click on a Classroom in the drop-down list. The Classroom Code is in the top left corner under the Classroom’s name. This code is unique and can be shared with your students. You can email it out to your class by clicking the Share button and typing in email addresses. However, another way is to write down the code on your whiteboard and have your students join the Classroom that way.

Remove a student from your Classroom

You can remove students from your classroom by clicking on the Classroom and then the “Remove” button on the right side next to the student you want to remove.

Archive a Classroom

You can archive a Classroom when you’re done teaching Deafverse at any point in the school year. Make sure you’re on the home page and click the Archive button on the right side next to a classroom you want to archive. The classroom will be stored, and you will be able to view it in the future.
